by Marshak from Burns was made in 1924. He began translating when he was a student. He started publishing the translations at the end of the thirtieth and went on till the last years of his life. Another letter was received from the professor of Gorkiy University Serafim Andreevich Orlov, who reserched the heritage of Robert Burns in pre-war years.
